Hillary Richard

Hillary Richard is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Central Minnesota Legal Services since September 2020, initially as an Equal Justice Works Fellow and later as a Saeks Public Interest Resident. Previous experience includes roles such as a Staff Member at the Journal of Law & Inequality and various legal internships at organizations like HOME Line and Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. Hillary also contributed to human rights through an internship with the New York City Commission on Human Rights and worked on asylum cases as a Law Clerk. Before entering the legal field, Hillary held project coordination and research roles at the Wildlife Conservation Society and was involved in community-focused projects with Heart of Brooklyn and Red Cloud Indian School. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School, a Master of Arts in Performance Studies from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Studies from Emerson College.
