Ahmeed Turner

Ahmeed Turner's work experience includes Vice President of Scholarships and Student Support/Say Yes Syracuse Executive Director at Central New York Community Foundation starting in April 2022. In this role, they promote lifelong learning success for Central NY students and families, supports the Syracuse City School District's efforts to increase graduation rates, and administers the Community Foundation's scholarship program. Ahmeed also manages the Say Yes Syracuse chapter, including award certifications and disbursements.

Additionally, Ahmeed has served as a board member for Believe in Syracuse since October 2018, Buildin Men Program since January 2023, and FOCUS Greater Syracuse from April 2018 to February 2023.

In the past, they worked as a part-time personal trainer at Metro Fitness club in downtown Syracuse from January 2016 to June 2018. There, they specialized in 1-on-1 personal training, had expertise in bodybuilding, and conducted group fitness training.

Ahmeed Turner's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, which was obtained from 1996 to 2000. From 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at Syracuse University. Currently, they are a candidate for an Executive Master of Non Profit Administration at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, focusing on the School of Business.
