Derek Mcclellan

Senior Medical Director at Central Ohio Primary Care

Dr. McClellan graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his Pediatrics residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital. From 2000 – 2021, Dr. McClellan provided comprehensive pediatric care for children of all ages. Throughout his career, he has used an innovative, holistic approach to deliver quality, cost-effective care.

In 2020, Dr. McClellan became COPC’s first Pediatric Medical Director, overseeing the expansion of many areas of pediatric care including pediatric nutrition, pediatric respiratory therapy, the Pediatric Support Center, and after-hours nurse triage through COPC’s Care Navigation team. In 2023, he assumed the role of Senior Medical Director where he continues the work of improving services, processes, and outcomes across Central Ohio Primary Care.
