Matthew S. has a varied work experience that spans over two decades. Matthew has recently been serving as a member of the Advisory Council at Vation Ventures since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Information Officer at U.S. Urology Partners from 2020. Matthew also served as the Chief Information Officer at Central Ohio Urology Group from 2020, undertaking both the permanent role and an interim role. Before that, they were the Director of Infrastructure at Quantum Health from 2019 to 2019. Matthew has also worked as the Director of IT, Americas at ASK Chemicals from 2013 to 2019. Furthermore, they have experience in the field of defense information systems, having worked as an Operations Lead and IT Specialist at Defense Information Systems Agency from 2008 to 2012. Prior to this, they worked as a Network Engineer at Apptis from 2005 to 2008 and at JPMorgan Chase from 2004 to 2005. Matthew's career began in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Sergeant from 1999 to 2003.

Matthew S. completed their Bachelor's degree in BS Network Communication and Management from DeVry University, which they attended from 2004 to 2007. Matthew later pursued their MBA in Business from Franklin University, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Matthew obtained the certification of IT Leader, co-certified by Franklin University from the Innovative Leadership Institute in the year 2020.
