Jenni Maiava has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jenni started their career in 1996 as an Associate Project Manager at PH&S, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an EMR Manager at Providence Medical Group. Jenni then joined Bank of Hawaii in 2012 and held positions as a Senior Project Manager and later as the Vice President of the Project Management Office until 2018. In 2018, they joined Central Pacific Bank as the VP and Manager of Operational Excellence and also served as the VP and Manager of Enterprise Project Management. Jenni has also been working as an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University - Hawaii since 2020.
Jenni Maiava, MPA, PMP has an extensive educational background in various fields. Jenni obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Computer Science from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College, attending from 2007 to 2011.
In addition to their academic achievements, Jenni Maiava also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, which they obtained in the period of 2013 to 2020, indicating their expertise in project management. Furthermore, they are a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), having obtained this certification from the Scrum Alliance in October 2021.
