Amy Bruining has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Vice President of Student Affairs at Central Piedmont Community College, a role held since November 2000. Previous positions at the same institution include Interim Vice President of Student Affairs, Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs - Academic Support, Assistant to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Associate Dean of Graduation & Records, and Director of Graduation & Institutional Records Management. Prior to this, Amy Bruining worked as the Coordinator of Volunteers & Collections at Historic Latta Plantation. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Western Carolina University, a Master of Arts in Education in Community College Administration from Western Carolina University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from James Madison University.
