Andrew Ross has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency medical services. Andrew currently serves as the Program Chair/Program Director for Emergency Medical Services at Central Piedmont Community College. Andrew is also the NC Advocacy Coordinator at the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and an Adjunct Professor at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and Stanly Community College. In addition, they have worked as an Adjunct Professor at AB Technical Community College / Pardee Hospital and as the Chief Executive Officer at Paradigm Training and Development LLC. Andrew has also served as a Board Member at the National Association of Mobile Integrated Healthcare Providers. Prior to these roles, they were the President of River Hills Emergency Squad, where they provided comprehensive EMS coverage and facilitated safety training programs. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Team Lead at CareerCert and as the North Carolina Operations Supervisor at American Transmed.
Andrew Ross MHA, NRP, CP-C has a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Scranton, which they obtained from 2019 to 2020. Andrew also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Fayetteville State University in 2018, and another Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Gardner-Webb University from 2013 to 2016. Andrew holds an Associate of Science (AS) in Emergency Medicine from Gaston College, which they received from 2005 to 2007. In terms of certifications, Andrew has obtained various qualifications such as the Community Paramedic Certification (CP-C) from the International Board of Specialty Certifications in 2020, and several instructor certifications from organizations such as the American Heart Association and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians.
