Christie W. has extensive experience in education and instructional design, currently serving as the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence, Senior Instructional Designer, and other roles at Central Piedmont Community College since August 2006. Christie W. has been instrumental in modifying instructional methods to cater to diverse developmental math students. Additionally, Christie W. is the President of The Art of Baking INC since 2010 and previously worked as a Middle School Mathematics Teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from August 2003 to June 2006, where effective classroom engagement and diverse instructional strategies were prioritized. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University, expected in 2025, a Master of Arts in Higher Education with a concentration in Community College and University Leadership, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
