Katrina Johnson MBA, MSL has a strong background in program management and mentoring. Katrina has experience working as the Director of the Office of Mentoring and Coaching/TRIO-SSS Programs at Central Piedmont Community College, where they provided daily management of budget, grants, and staff for various academic support programs. Katrina also served as the Assistant Director of Mentoring and Bridge, where they coordinated planning and initiatives for mentoring programs and transitional programs. Prior to that, they worked as an Educational Support Specialist at the college, overseeing the Minority Male Mentoring Program and other initiatives.
Before their time at Central Piedmont, Johnson worked as a Cheerleading Coach at Johnson C. Smith University and as an Emergency Services Operations Manager at the American Red Cross Greater Carolinas Chapter. Additionally, they have experience in sales and operations, having worked as a Territory Sales Manager and an Operations Supervisor at Energizer Holdings. Johnson holds an MBA and an MSL degree.
Katrina Johnson holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Master of Science in Leadership (M.S.L) from Pfeiffer University, obtained between 2011 and 2015. Katrina also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Fayetteville State University, completed between 1993 and 1997, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, earned in 1995. Additionally, they hold a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, obtained in 2021.
