Mary Collin has over 20 years of work experience in various research and development roles. Mary is currently the Director of Research, Alumni Relations & Special Projects at Central Piedmont Community College, where they provide proactive prospect research support for all campaign phases and major donor contacts. Prior to this, Mary worked as an Executive Recruiting & Research Manager at L&J Associates, a Prospect Research Coordinator at Grand Valley State University, and in research and development roles at Crystal Flash Petroleum. Mary also served as the Coordinator of Institutional Research at the University of Mount Olive and worked in institutional advancement support at Brunswick Community College. Mary is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and has successfully contributed to multiple capital campaigns that have exceeded their goals.

Mary Collin, CFRE holds a MA in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University, obtained from 1998 to 2000. Mary also completed a BS in Business from the University of Mount Olive, which they pursued from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, Mary pursued college transfer courses at Brunswick Community College from 1991 to 1994. Mary has also undertaken studies in Adult Education as part of a Master's program at East Carolina University and Art/Art Studies at Central Piedmont Community College. Mary obtained their Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification from Certified Fund Raising Executive International in 2010.
