Pierre Plax

Pierre Plax is an accomplished educator and experienced pilot. Since July 2022, Pierre has served as a High School Mathematics Teacher with Central Point School District 6, following five years as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at Eagle Point School District 9. Prior to the transition to education, Pierre held various positions in aviation, including Chief Pilot for Mercy Flights, Inc., where responsibilities included conducting air ambulance flights and training pilots. Pierre's aviation career also includes roles as Captain at Scenic Airlines and First Officer at ExpressJet Airlines. Academically, Pierre holds a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Hartford, a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature from The Ohio State University, and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Southern Oregon University.
