Dinah King

Dinah King is an experienced Children Librarian currently serving at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library since June 2022. Prior to this position, Dinah worked as a Librarian for Spotsylvania County Public Schools from August 2014 to June 2022, where responsibilities included building a library collection aligned with the needs of teachers and students, as well as boosting book fair sales and attendance. Previously, Dinah held a role as Shift Supervisor at Starbucks from June 2012 to August 2014, leading a team in high-pressure environments and ensuring excellent customer service. Earlier experience includes managing student callers as a Student Manager at Randolph College Development and serving as an Orientation Leader at Randolph College. Dinah also held the position of President of the Macon Activities Council, where leadership involved coordinating and modernizing student activities. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from The Catholic University of America and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Randolph College in Communication and Media Studies, as well as Communication Studies.
