Keith Chong

Keith Chong has a diverse background in library and information services, technology support, and community engagement. Currently serving as Children's Librarian II at Oakland Public Library since July 2019, Keith focuses on teaching technology literacy and assisting patrons with technology-related tasks. Previous experience includes a Technical Account Manager role at FunctionOne, where account management and IT policy implementation were key responsibilities. Volunteer work with CAPOEIRA ARTS FOUNDATION INC involved curriculum development and community outreach, while earlier work as an IT Helpdesk Specialist at Autodesk included comprehensive tech support. Keith holds a Master of Library & Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio from the University of California, Davis.
