Karen Irwin

Karen Irwin has worked in the banking industry for over 30 years, starting in February 1991 with State Savings Bank as Vice President. Karen then moved to Central State Bank in the same role, starting in 1991 as Assistant Vice President and then becoming Vice President in 2015. Their responsibilities throughout their career have included financial reporting, risk management, budgeting, mortgage origination and servicing, and portfolio management. Karen has also been involved in asset liability software utilization and quality control programs.

Karen Irwin has a well-rounded education history, with degrees at different levels and in various fields of study. Karen first attended West Shore Community College from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Following that, Karen pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management & Marketing at Davenport University, which they completed from 1996 to 1998. Karen Irwin then furthered their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison-Graduate School of Banking, where they earned a Graduate Degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from 1999 to 2002. These educational experiences have likely provided Karen with a strong foundation in business, marketing, and banking, setting their up for success in their chosen field.
