Eddy Avelar

Eddy Avelar is currently an Instructional Technology Coach at CENTRAL UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT. Prior to this, they worked as an Outreach Specialist at Imperial County Office of Education from February 2010 to September 2017. Eddy also has experience working as a Social Science Teacher at Calexico Unified School District from August 2008 to June 2009. In addition, they served as the Director of California Student Opportunity and Access Program from August 2003 to October 2008.

Eddy Avelar has a California Teacher Credential in Teacher Education and Professional Development from National University. Eddy has a Master of Arts in Eddy'story from San Diego State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from San Diego State University - Imperial Valley. Eddy also has Transfer Units in Social Science from Imperial Valley College. Finally, they have a B.A. in Social Science and a Clear Credential in Secondary Education and Teaching from Claremont Graduate University. Eddy is certified by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and Leading Edge - California.
