Timothy Nootenboom is currently the Associate Superintendent of Learning & Teaching at Central Valley School District. Timothy has over 25 years of experience in education, including as a teacher, coach, and principal.

Nootenboom began their career as a teacher in 1995 at St. John Endicott Cooperative Schools, where they taught kindergarten, fifth grade, and middle school. Timothy also coached middle and high school sports. In 2002, they became the principal at Colfax School District, where they served as the preschool-8 principal and K-12 special education director. In 2005, they became the founding principal of Cascade View Elementary School in the Snoqualmie Valley School District.

Under their leadership, Cascade View Elementary School was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2013.

Timothy Nootenboom has a Masters in Education Leadership from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching also from Washington State University.
