Russ Swaga

Russ Swaga has extensive experience in pharmacy informatics, currently serving as the Manager of Pharmacy Informatics at CAMH since April 2019, after a previous tenure in the same role from November 2017 to January 2019. Prior to CAMH, Russ held the position of Manager of Pharmacy Informatics and Technologies at Island Health from October 2012 to November 2017. Russ has also contributed to academia as an instructor for McMaster University's Health Informatics Programme, teaching the course "Systems Analysis and Evaluation" multiple times between 2012 and 2016, and developing course materials for the same program. Russ began a career in clinical application consulting at North York General Hospital, where responsibilities included leading projects focused on medication integration and supporting electronic health initiatives from 2006 to 2012. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University, complemented by further studies at George Brown College.
