Chief Systems Architect at Centre for Citizenship, Enterprise and Governance

Maryam Taghiyeva has a diverse work experience in project management, systems architecture, and blockchain technology. Maryam is currently working as a Project Manager at Guavapay Limited since July 2021.

From 2016 to present, they were involved with the Centre for Citizenship, Enterprise and Governance. Maryam started as a Chief Systems Architect, where they designed and oversaw the implementation of integrated systems and led client solutions' implementation. Maryam also delivered architectural initiatives, developed blueprints and roadmaps, and gained organizational commitment for architectural and infrastructure initiatives. Maryam then served as a Senior Development Analyst from December 2016 to July 2017.

In 2019, Maryam served as the President of the Integration of Azerbaijani Youth to Europe Organization (AGAT).

At IDRAK Technology Transfer, they held two roles from 2019 to 2021. Maryam first worked as a Blockchain Specialist from April 2019 to May 2020, and then as a Program Management Office Coordinator from May 2020 to June 2021.

Maryam also had a role as a Visiting Research Scholar at Fordham University from July 2017 to December 2017.

Before that, they worked at Seratio as a Development Analyst from December 2015 to May 2016.

Maryam also has a history with the Integration of Azerbaijani Youth to Europe Organization (AGAT) from 2011 to 2014. Maryam served as a Board Member from December 2012 to September 2014 and as a Project Manager from August 2011 to September 2014.

Maryam started their career as an Intern at UNDP Azerbaijan from August 2012 to November 2012.

Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in project management, systems architecture, and blockchain technology.

Maryam Taghiyeva holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Relations from the University of Warwick which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Baku State University from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Maryam has also earned certifications as a Professional Scrum Master and Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org, although specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unavailable.
