Piia Tarnanen

Piia Tarnanen is a Finance Specialist at ELY-keskus since May 2023, focusing on expert tasks for development projects funded by EU structural funds in the West Finland region. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and Project Coordinator at Tampere University of Applied Sciences from August 2016 to April 2023, as well as founding Kineso Oy, where development of a remote rehabilitation application took place. Piia also served as an Instructor for rehabilitation courses at Aivovammaliitto ry, and as a Rehabilitation Planner at Neuroliitto ry, advocating for individuals with multiple sclerosis and rare neurological diseases. Additional roles include Project Planner at TAMK, Physiotherapist at Coxa Oy, and various positions at the City of Tampere and the University of Jyväskylä, with educational qualifications including a Master of Health Sciences and a degree in Physiotherapy.
