Naana Marekia is an experienced Program Officer specializing in Africa at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) since January 2014. Expertise includes high-level political dialogue, mediation practice, and designing training in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, and reconciliation. Naana has coordinated research focusing on violence and transitional justice, planned and organized events, and engaged in editing. Prior to this role, Naana served as the Coordinator for the Research, Learning and Policy Programme at NPI-Africa from June 2008 to December 2013, where responsibilities included formulating and managing research projects, overseeing publications, managing a prominent resource center, and representing the organization in forums. Naana holds a Master of Arts in Peace Studies from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from USIU-Africa.
