Sarah Dewhurst is an experienced professional in conflict resolution and humanitarian dialogue, currently serving as a Mediation Support and Evaluation Advisor at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue since May 2017. Prior to this role, Sarah held positions including Senior Projects Manager for Myanmar at The Asia Foundation and Team Leader for the Conflict Mitigation through Policing Program. Sarah's expertise also encompasses research and policy development, evidenced by their tenure as a Security Sector Policy Research Fellow at the Centre for Security Governance, where research led to significant publications. As Co-Founder of Hametin Development Consultancy Group, Sarah advised high-profile clients, including the European Union and UNDP. Additionally, Sarah has worked as a Lead Consultant for the European Commission and held roles in various organizations focused on mediation and peacebuilding. Sarah obtained a Master of Arts in Post-War Recovery Studies from the University of York.
