Dr Balwant Singh

Dr. Balwant Singh possesses extensive experience in leadership roles within humanitarian and development sectors, currently serving as Advisory Board Member at Dialogue Action, Board Member at the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership, and Board Trustee at Oxfam. Between 2018 and the present, Dr. Singh has worked as an adviser and mentor focused on leadership, strategy, and governance. Previously, as Executive Director of Sphere from 2019 to 2022, Dr. Singh led initiatives to improve humanitarian response standards. Notable past positions include CEO of Kusuma Trust UK, Global Director of Innovations for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health at Concern Worldwide, and Regional Director for Save the Children UK. Dr. Singh holds an MBBS, an MBA, and a diploma in Health Services Management, reflecting a strong educational foundation in health and management.
