Justine De Rouck is an experienced professional in humanitarian studies and public health, currently serving as a Lecturer in Humanitarian Studies and DESLH Course Director at the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership since May 2022. Justine's previous roles include Regional Public Health Consultant for the World Food Programme, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Technology Sydney, where responsibilities included the development of a Communicable Disease course. Justine has extensive field experience with Médecins du Monde as a Medical Advisor and with Médecins Sans Frontières as a Medical Team Leader and Head Nurse. Justine's background also includes critical care nursing at Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris and emergency management during the 2010 Haitian cholera outbreak with ALIMA. Justine holds a Master of Public Health from Institut de santé publique, d'épidémiologie et de développement, along with various other relevant qualifications in nursing and epidemiology.
