Cephas Makayi

Cephas Makayi is an experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Grants and Contracts Officer at the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) since July 2022. Prior roles include Programme Portfolio Compliance Officer at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from September 2020 to June 2022, and Programme Compliance Officer at the Department for International Development (DFID) from June 2018 to September 2020. Additionally, Cephas held the position of Program Administration Officer at Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) from June 2014 to June 2015. Cephas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Development Studies from the University of Zambia (2009-2013) and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at The University of Zambia, expected to complete in the near future.
