Distinguished Fellow In Emerging Technologies at Centre for Legal Innovation

Mitchell Adams is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in law and legal technology. Currently serving as a Distinguished Fellow in Emerging Technologies at the Centre for Legal Innovation since November 2023, Mitchell combines a role as Senior Lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology since May 2015, where responsibilities also include serving as a Research Centre Manager for the Centre for Transformative Innovation. Mitchell is the founder and partner of Pixels & Marks, specializing as a Trade Marks Attorney, and has co-directed both the Legal Tech Clinic and the Legal Design Clinic since May 2020. Prior to these roles, Mitchell worked as a Legal Technologist at CSIRO, developing legal technology solutions for intellectual property. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from Swinburne University of Technology and various legal and educational certificates from leading institutions.
