Sandhya Venkateswaran

Sandhya Venkateswaran is a Senior Fellow at Centre for Social and Economic Progress. Prior to this role, Sandhya was a Deputy Director at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and worked as a Commissioner at Lancet Citizen's Commission on Reimagining India's Health Systems. With a background in industrial engineering, Sandhya has held various advocacy and policy roles in organizations such as GAIN, UNICEF, Wada Na Todo Abhiyan, CARE USA, and CARE India. Notably, Sandhya has worked on issues of gender and equity, social inclusion, governance accountability, and health.
