Erik Joly has extensive experience in research management and scientific leadership, currently serving as the Manager of the CRCHUM Research Support Office and Manager of Research & Core Facility Development at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) since December 2017. Prior to this role, Erik was the Associate Director - Cores & Development and Senior Scientist at the Montreal Diabetes Research Center from 2007 to 2020. Erik's earlier career includes significant positions at CRCHUM, where Erik worked as a Senior Research Scientist & Lab Manager from November 2001 to March 2017, and as a Group Leader at BioSignal Packard BioScience from April 1996 to November 2001. Erik began their career as a trainee at Bio-Méga (Boehringer Ingelheim) in 1987. Erik holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from Université de Montréal and completed a Post-Doctoral fellowship in Molecular Biochemistry at The University of Connecticut Health Center.
