Nannette Stamm

Chief Community Health Officer at Vista Community Clinic

Nannette Stamm joined the VCC team in 2004 because of our commitment to ensuring that not only every patient is healthy, but also that the broader community is healthy. Ms. Stamm took a brief leave of absence in 2008 to work in Bolivia, using her fluency in Spanish to oversee five comprehensive health ministries in Cochabamba. She’s also worked as a Comprehensive Perinatal Health Worker in addition to completing research at the Center for Children’s Environmental Health Research at UC Berkley, where she completed her Masters in Public Health with an emphasis on Maternal and Child Health.

At VCC, Ms. Stamm is responsible for directing and supervising community and in-house health promotion and education programs. She also oversees program contract monitoring, evaluation activities, and staff supervision of the Health Promotion Center. Ms. Stamm’s program focus includes youth development, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention, migrant services, HIV/AIDS services, general VCC outreach, and maternal and child health. In addition, she oversees the grant development for the entire organization. Ms. Stamm is inspired by knowing that, every day she comes to work, she’s helping to make positive changes in the lives of people, especially those who need it most.
