Christopher Kowalewski

Christopher Kowalewski is an experienced medical professional currently serving as an EP/Cardiology Fellow at CHU de Bordeaux since July 2022 and at Leipzig Heart Center since June 2020. In addition, Christopher has been a Research Fellow at Stanford University since January 2016. Previous roles include Research Fellow positions at Siemens Healthcare, where development of an imaging software prototype took place, and Kinderkardiologie at Uniklinikum Erlangen, which involved creating the first German database for congenital heart diseases. Christopher also conducted research on the electrophysiological effects of antiepileptic drugs on voltage-gated sodium channels at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Stanford University (2016-2019) and studies at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and the Technical University of Munich.
