Andreia Rebotim currently holds the position of Postdoctoral Researcher and Técnico Superior at the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) since March 2021. Previous experiences include a PhD student role at IPMA/University of Bremen from September 2012 to November 2018, and multiple research fellow positions at LNEG, where work involved significant projects related to paleoceanography and marine sediment analysis from 2008 to 2012. Andreia Rebotim also participated in research projects at INETI focusing on past ocean circulation and sedimentation processes and completed an internship at IPIMAR studying the sanitary condition of the Portuguese oyster. Academic qualifications include a Doctor's Degree from the University of Bremen, a Master's degree in Ocean Sciences from Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar, and a Licenciatura in Marine Biology and Biotechnology from Polytechnic of Leiria.
