Nicolas Ballet

Nicolas Ballet serves as an Attaché de conservation in the Service Nouveaux médias at the Centre Pompidou since October 2021. Previously, Nicolas held the position of postdoctoral researcher at Labex CAP, focusing on the project “Culture matérielle contestataire” in collaboration with the Bibliothèque Kandinsky. Academic contributions include teaching contemporary art history at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and conducting significant research at the Institut national d'histoire de l'art, where Nicolas managed audiovisual archive inventories. Nicolas completed a doctoral thesis in contemporary art history at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and possesses multiple degrees in art history from French universities.
