Kristy Brown

President & CEO at Centrex Rehab

Kristy began her career treating patients as a Speech-Language Pathologist but quickly found her true passion was in management. With a strong desire to continue to have an impact on the delivery of therapy services, Kristy approached management with a focus on quality. After serving in management roles for therapy companies in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Kristy was given the opportunity to develop a therapy company for Augustana Care Corporation in 1999. Starting with just 15 employees and three therapy sites, Augustana Therapy Services (ATS) grew significantly. In 2012, Augustana combined with Ebenezer Society to become the Charter Members of Centrex Rehab.

As the President and CEO, Kristy has focused on enhancing services and expanding quality care to a variety of populations. In 2017, under her leadership, Centrex Rehab added two Sponsoring Members — Volunteers of America (VOA) and BEK Care, LLC. The company currently has more than 500 employees who serve many diverse communities across the United States.

Kristy has a Master’s degree in the field of Communication Disorders. She is an active member of ASHA, MSHA, Leading Age, Care Providers and NASL. With a strong desire to educate and share ideas, Kristy regularly speaks at a variety of conventions in addition to writing blogs and articles for national and local publications.
