Dual Innovation Lead Decentralized IT Governance at Centric

Paul van Vulpen has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current positions as a Dual PhD Candidate in Decentralized IT Governance at Universiteit Utrecht and as a Dual Innovation Lead in the same field at Centric, both of which they began in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technology Consulting Analyst at Accenture from 2020 to 2021. In 2018, they were a Junior Lecturer at NISI - Nederlands Instituut voor de Software Industrie, and in 2017, they held the role of Student Assistant for Software Ecosystems at Universiteit Utrecht and worked as a Consultant Intern at Yellowtail.

Paul van Vulpen has a diverse education history. Paul began by earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Science and Innovation Management from Utrecht University in 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Informatics at Utrecht University, which they completed in 2019 with honors. In 2021, Paul attended Landmerk Retorica College and obtained a teaching qualification known as "Docent in Opleiding." Paul also participated in a summer program called "The Phoenix Institute" at the University of Notre Dame. In 2019, they enrolled in another program at Landmerk Retorica College called "Sleuteljaar 2019." Paul attended College de Heemlanden for their secondary education, specializing in VWO Natuur en techniek / Natuur en gezondheid from 2007 to 2013. Paul recently joined Utrecht University in 2022 for a PhD in ICT. Additionally, Paul has obtained the certifications of MSc in Business Informatics (With Honours) from Universiteit Utrecht in 2019 and BSc in Naturwetenschap en innovatiemanagement from Utrecht University in 2016.
