Kevin McKenna has a diverse work experience in the oil and energy industry. Kevin started their career as a Reservoir Modeling Consultant at Roxar in 1998. Kevin then moved on to become an Account Manager at Roxar and also started their Calgary office. In 2003, they joined Earth Decision as a Global Account Manager.
In 1998, McKenna joined Paradigm as a Reservoir Modeling Consultant and later held various roles including BP Global Account Manager and Global Account Director. Kevin was responsible for selling Paradigm's technology and workflows to customers, providing them with a deeper insight into the subsurface.
From 2009 to 2011, they worked as the Business Development Director at Austin GeoModeling, helping high tech oil and gas companies implement next-generation geological interpretation solutions. Kevin also worked as a Solution Sales Manager - Landmark at Halliburton, responsible for sales and services contracts for Landmark's Geology and Geophysics domain solution.
McKenna then joined SIGMA3 in 2011, where they held multiple roles including Senior Director of Business Development, Vice President of Technology Solutions, and Vice President of Sales. In these roles, they focused on bringing SIGMA3's innovative technology solutions to the marketplace and achieving sales efficiency and profitability. Kevin was also responsible for the commercialization of SIGMA3 software/technology solutions and leading technical training and software support.
In 2018, McKenna joined Teleios Commodities as a Managing Partner, where they were involved in strategic product management and leading the Platform Companies Group. Kevin then joined Centric Infrastructure Group in 2020 and has held the positions of Vice President of Business Development and Senior Vice President of Business Development. Overall, McKenna has demonstrated strong expertise in sales, business development, and technology solutions in the oil and energy industry.
Kevin McKenna has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Trinity University, which they obtained between the years of 1993 and 1997. Later, in 2016 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Global Energy Management at the University of Colorado Denver.
