Kathryn Fowler

Kathryn Fowler is an accomplished professional with a strong background in energy forecasting and education. Currently serving as a Senior Forecast Analyst at Centrica Energy since November 2019, Kathryn manages projects within the Asset Forecasting team while focusing on renewable energy forecasts. Previously held roles include Forecast Analyst and Energy Marketing and Trade Analyst, where a significant emphasis was placed on optimizing wind power forecasts and data analytics. In academia, Kathryn has contributed as a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy and worked as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Manchester, guiding undergraduate students in various scientific courses. Additionally, Kathryn has extensive experience in competitive water polo, having represented national teams and coached at the club level, alongside a history of roles in swimming instruction and safety. Kathryn holds a PhD in Atmospheric Physics and dual degrees in Mathematics and Physics.
