Elena Karpathakis

Elena Karpathakis is an accomplished professional in the telecommunications and utility sectors with extensive leadership experience. Currently serving as VP - Field Services Director at British Gas, Elena leads a national field engineering unit of 9,000 employees delivering 7 million customer visits annually. Prior to this role, Elena held several key positions at Openreach from 2013 to 2022, including Director of National Infrastructure & Operations, where responsibility encompassed a significant budget and a large team focused on fiber and network delivery. Elena's earlier experience at BT and Fidelity Investments further strengthened expertise in operations and project management. Elena holds a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Economics from the University of Warwick.
