Phil Crowhurst

Phil Crowhurst is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in commercial and procurement law. Currently serving as the Head of Legal, Commercial & Procurement at Centrica since August 2019, Phil leads the UK Home in-house legal team. Previously, Phil held roles as a Senior Commercial Lawyer at Lloyds Banking Group and a Senior Legal Counsel at British Gas, both on an interim consultancy basis, advising on various commercial matters including outsourcing agreements. Phil's background includes significant tenure as Deputy General Counsel & Company Secretary for Sony Electronics in Europe, and previously working as a solicitor at Allen & Overy in the TMT sector. Early career stages included positions as a Retail Automation Consultant at Shell International and a Management Trainee at Total after graduating with a BA (Hons) in History from Emmanuel College, Cambridge.
