Irena Bobojcov has extensive experience in graphic design and marketing roles. Irena started their career in 2011 as a Graphic Designer/Communications Assistant at CIMIC Group, where they were responsible for internal and external artwork, website updates, and managing the visual brand. Irena then moved on to become a Senior Graphic Designer at CIMIC Group, leading concept creation and design for key enterprise projects.
From 2014 to 2015, Irena worked as a Marketing and Production Coordinator at Hames Sharley, where they monitored and directed daily design production and marketing activities. Irena also provided design support for social media, brochures, interactive PDFs, and internal communications.
In 2015, they joined Odgers Berndtson as a Design and Marketing Executive, serving as the Lead Graphic Designer and contributing to marketing strategies and design initiatives. Irena also prepared layout designs for pitches, proposals, and marketing collateral for events.
From 2018 to 2019, Irena worked as a Graphic Designer at Mace, primarily in the bids team for Como - the interiors arm of Mace Group. Their responsibilities included designing brochures, presentations, and shells for bids and submissions.
Irena then joined WSP as a Graphic Designer in 2018, before moving on to Outbrain in 2019. At Outbrain, Irena held positions as both a Graphic Designer and a Senior Graphic Designer. Their roles involved directing concept creation, design, and implementation of advertising and marketing materials. Irena also met with stakeholders to determine briefs and budgets and oversaw projects from content through to design, print, and production.
Most recently, in 2022, Irena joined Centrical as a Senior Graphic Designer.
Irena Bobojcov completed their education at the Central Institute of Technology in 2013, where they obtained a Certificate IV in Marketing. Prior to that, they attended Central TAFE from 2007 to 2010, completing an Advance Diploma in Graphic Design. Additionally, they received a certification as a Native Advertising Strategy Expert from the Outbrain Academy in May 2021.
