Daniela Cortes has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Daniela started their career at GE Transportation in 2005 as an HR Coordinator, supporting HR operations for the site. Daniela then became an HR Generalist, focusing on staffing, organization & development, union relations, and payroll processes. Daniela'smain focus during this time was on cost-out projects in HR. In 2010, they took on the role of HR Leader, leading HR strategy, including career and performance management, market salary analysis, and supporting the sourcing organization for Mexico. In 2011, Daniela joined GE Energy - Power Conversion as an HR Leader- GE Motors Services, where they supported staffing, hiring, onboarding, and retention processes for over 1000 employees. Daniela was also responsible for union relations, payroll, and compensation processes. Most recently, Daniela has been working at Centrient Pharmaceuticals as the Global Human Resources Director since 2023 and previously as the Human Resources Director Americas. Additionally, they held the position of Sourcing Manager and Human Resources Manager at Centrient Pharmaceuticals.

Daniela Cortes completed their undergraduate studies at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2002 to 2006, earning a degree in LAE. Currently, they are enrolled in a Business Administration and Leadership Master Degree program at UANE, which they are expected to complete between 2021 and 2023. In addition to their formal education, Daniela has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as identifying and retaining high-potential personnel, interviewing applicants, managing stress, using metrics to drive HR strategy, inclusive leadership, and performance measurement in the company.
