Pre-Sales ERP Solutions Architect

A Pre-Sales Solutions Architect contributes to the Centrilogic mission of being a premier global provider of multi-cloud management, cloud-native application development solutions, and strategic end-to-end digital transformation services. This role entails being a key member of the Centrilogic sales team whose primary role is to translate client business challenges into Centrilogic digital solutions.

As a bridge between sales and technology, you will collaborate closely with sales teams, technology subject matter experts (SMEs), and clients to design and propose innovative solutions. Your expertise will drive successful pre-sales engagements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.

Candidate should have a solid technical background, ERP experience, sound judgment, and good business acumen. They will always display the highest integrity and be fully capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal requirement for task-driven supervision. This position is for a team member who has a proven record of excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in the IT and technology industry, has a passion for learning and is a self-starter and problem solver. Someone who can think outside the box.

Primary Responsibilities: Centrilogic is looking for a full-time permanent Presales ERP Solution Architect. The individual will perform the following: 

  1. Solution Architecture Development:
    • Develop a robust solution architecture framework that aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.
    • Leverage your expertise in enterprise applications, including Dynamics 365 and possibly other ERP solutions like NetSuite or JDE to create tailored solutions.
    • Incorporate Public Cloud (Azure/OCI) solutions architecture principles where applicable to design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
  2. Technical Consultation:
    • Act as a senior technical advisor, providing guidance to sales leadership.
    • Collaborate with C-Level executives to address infrastructure and security concerns.
    • Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of ERP solutions, public cloud technologies, and other Centrilogic services.
  3. Sales Support:
    • Work together with the Account Executive to further develop the customer relationship while providing strategic recommendations and best practices.
    • Work with the Sales teams to Assess Leads and Opportunities through discovery and sizing based on rough orders of magnitude.
    • Research proper equipment and cost for proposed designs/solutions and build Bills of Materials from approved company vendors.
    • Lead the creation and deliver customized proposals, designs, effort estimates, pricing, and statements of work (SOWs).
    • Help to relay the value proposition of Centrilogic products and services to customers and provide insight into the value of cloud managed services to customers and prospects.
    • Facilitate Executive Briefing workshops and custom proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  4. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs):
    • Work with SMEs throughout the organization and partner network to design solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Conduct due diligence and peer reviews.
    • Work with the implementation teams to review designs prior to proposal and provide guidance at project kick-off.
    • Engage with technology SMEs across various domains (e.g., ERP solution towers, cloud, connectivity, security, data analytics) to validate technical feasibility, review capacity.
    • Leverage your network to open doors for new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years experience in ERP systems, Dynamics and/or NetSuite preferred, having been involved in the following:
      • System implementation
      • Migration and cutover to the system, including data migration.
      • Integration experience to/from other legacy systems.
      • Process analysis, redesign, and documentation.
    • 5+ years Solution Architecture or Consulting experience in front of Customers in a services environment.
    • 5+ years Azure and/or Oracle Cloud experience
      • Prior experience with the design of migrating to Cloud (Azure or OCI), building Infra using best-practice approach.
    • Certifications (Preferred):
      • Expert or Associate level Dynamics 365 Certifications or equivalent
      • NetSuite Admin, ERP Consultant, App Dev or other Certification
      • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
      • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in ERP solution development, consulting, cloud solutions, and integration.
      • Ability to train client in support of ERP implementations.
      • Mentor colleagues, providing ERP implementation support and guidance.
      • Understanding of two or more functional areas of ERP (Financial Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, CRM, Supply Chain Mgmt/Inventory, Job Costing, Sales, Procurement)
      • Familiarity with data analytics, process automation, and Cloud solutions.
      • Understanding of Cloud IaaS and PaaS Services with previous experience working with cloud technologies (Azure, Oracle preferred).
      • Well versed in technology solutions and strategies pertaining to Security, Cloud, Data Centre, and Managed Services.
      • Project planning
      • Understanding of security concepts (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Proxy, DDOS, SIEM, DLP, WAF).
      • Ability to travel - travel around Greater Toronto Area and Northeast US.

    • Data Intelligence, AI and ML – Open AI, IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning
  • Platforms and Infrastructure
    • Managed Infrastructure – Cloud: Public/Private/Hybrid, Colocation
    • Managed Connectivity – Cloud/Private Networking, vWAN, SDWAN (FortiNet a plus)
    • Managed Productivity – M365
    • Managed Security – Cyber Assessments, Vulnerability/Penetration testing
