Catarina Fernandes

Catarina Fernandes is a dedicated medical professional specializing in neurology, currently serving as a board member at Sociedade Portuguesa de Cefaleias and an Education Liaison on the Scientific Panel on Epilepsy for the European Academy of Neurology. As of November 2023, Catarina leads the Commission of Interns and Newly Specialized Neurologists at Sociedade Portuguesa de Neurologia and has been a neurology resident at Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra since January 2021. Catarina has also contributed to medical education as a trainer at Academia da Especialidade and previously worked as a junior medical doctor at Centro Hospitalar Tondela-Viseu.
