Ernesto Herrera Guerra

Ernesto Herrera Guerra has extensive experience in environmental management and organizational leadership. Currently serving as a member of the Advisory Council at Centro México Digital and as a Board of Trustees member at Arbor Day Foundation, Herrera Guerra is also the General Director at Reforestamos México A.C., which focuses on securing vital forests for Mexico's development. Active in various roles, Herrera Guerra is a member of the Steering Committee of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs for Mexico and Central America and serves as President of the Mesoamerican Committee for IUCN, representing multiple Central American nations. Previous leadership positions include President of the Mexican Committee of IUCN, where a significant membership growth was achieved, and President of the Advisory Council at the Forest Business Center of the National Forestry Commission. Academic qualifications include a Fund Raising Diploma from Indiana University and a Master's in Management Studies focused on Environment and Management from The University of Waikato.
