Oscar Pires Jimenez is an experienced professional in the field of aerodynamics, currently serving as the Responsible for Experimental Aerodynamics at the Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables (CENER) since January 2007. In this role, Oscar manages wind tunnel testing for wind turbine components and participates in aerodynamic design and development projects for turbine blades. Prior to this position, Oscar held the title of Head of Wind Tunnel Testing at EADS from November 2000 to December 2006, overseeing wind tunnel test design, specification preparation, and results analysis. Oscar began the career as a Test Engineer at the Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA) and also worked as an Engineer at ESDRAS Automatica, focusing on data acquisition and real-time control systems. Oscar holds an Aeronautical Engineering degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, obtained in 1998.
