Heather Bernklau

Heather Bernklau has a diverse and extensive work experience. Heather has worked as a Freelance Art Lead at Centron since 2022. Prior to that, Heather worked as a Freelance Illustrator/Visual Designer, offering various services across print and digital platforms for clients such as Chobani, Centron, Havas, and Pager. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Director of Curation at Digital Culture Works, Inc., collaborating with founders on pitch decks, strategy, marketing, and community building for an NFT platform. Heather also has experience as an Artist Liaison and Community Coordinator/Moderator for $WHALE Community, where they conducted interviews with NFT creators and developed programming for the community. At Centron, they worked as a Freelance Art Lead and later as an Art + Production Lead, specializing in rare-disease and oncology-focused products. Heather has also contributed their skills as a Freelance Senior Designer/Illustrator at Havas. In previous roles, they served as the Lead Graphic Designer at the Institute For Integrative Nutrition, Assistant Studio Manager at Merkley + Partners, and Senior Graphic Designer/Illustrator at Cline Davis & Mann/Lab9/AgencyRx/Link9. Prior to that, Heather worked as a Graphic Designer at THE CEMENT BLOC.

Heather Bernklau earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In 2013 to 2014, they attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where they obtained certification as a Certified Holistic Health Coach. Additionally, they hold several other certifications, including an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in July 2015, a 200-hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification from Yoga Alliance via Revolution Yoga in Rockville Centre, NY in December 2011, and a Certified Core-Strength Vinyasa Yoga Teacher certification from Sadie Nardini E-RYT; Founder, Core-Strength Vinyasa Yoga in May 2011.
