Jim Sheets

Jim Sheets currently serves as the Peaks Region President at Intermountain Health, responsible for services across Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Kansas since January 2024. Additionally, Jim holds an adjunct professor position at the University of Utah since August 2015. Previously, Jim was the Group President at CommonSpirit Health and the Region COO for Acute Care at Intermountain Healthcare, overseeing operations across 21 hospitals with significant revenue and staffing. Jim has a strong background in health care management with achievements including the establishment of the Intermountain Ambulatory Surgery Centers division and the restructuring of telehealth services. Prior roles include CEO/Administrator at LDS Hospital and Vice President at Enloe Medical Center. Jim holds dual Master's degrees in Health Care and Finance (MHA & MBA) from the University of Minnesota, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Utah.
