Skip Sorenson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lloyd R. "Skip" began their career as the VP Finance at AlliedSignal, where they achieved record sales growth and successfully closed three acquisitions. Sorenson then joined Dell Inc. as the Controller for the Corporate Business Group, overseeing worldwide finance, accounting, leasing, pricing, and sales forecasting.

In 2013, Sorenson became the CFO at Imagine Communications and GatesAir, a global provider of software and hardware for media networks and broadcast stations. Lloyd R. "Skip" later left to pursue their passion for shipbuilding and joined Anchors Aweigh Capital as the Managing Partner. In this role, they facilitated boat and shipbuilding transactions and raised debt and equity from strategic partners.
In 2017, Sorenson became the President and CEO of Tuxedo Yachts, which included the Carbon Craft and Southport Boat brands. Lloyd R. "Skip" led the acquisition of luxury-oriented boat businesses and oversaw the development of innovative and high-performance yacht tenders and boats.
Most recently, in 2020, Sorenson took on the role of President and CEO at Century Boats.
