Panos Tsoumpas has extensive work experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on technology and innovation. Panos started their career in 1994 as a Technology Manager at the Florida Department of Children and Families. Panos then joined Citi in 2001, where they held various roles including Project Manager, Product Manager, and Technology Head. During their tenure at Citi, they were responsible for delivering new projects such as the first-ever Diners Club Chip card and mobile banking in Greece. Panos also built a cards technology hub to service multiple regions. In 2014, Panos joined First Data Hellas as the Solutions Implementation Director, responsible for designing and commercializing products. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at Cepal Hellas Financial Services.
Panos Tsoumpas started their education at Papagos Highschool from 1976 to 1981. Panos then attended the University of Piraeus from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Science. Following that, from 1987 to 1990, they pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems at Florida International University - College of Business. Finally, they attended the University of Miami Herbert Business School from 1990 to 1994, focusing on Computer Information System, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree in this field.
