Sotiris Kampouropoulos

Sotiris Kampouropoulos has a range of experience in the field of human resources. Sotiris started their career as a Cashier/Customer Service representative at Hellenic Duty Free Shops in 2009 and then moved on to become a Human Resources Generalist and later a Human Resources Manager at the same company. Sotiris'sresponsibilities included leading core HR processes, coordinating time management and payroll activities, managing conflicts and crises, and ensuring compliance with labor law requirements. In 2016, they joined Karamolegos Bakery S.A. as an HR Administration & Payroll Supervisor, where they were responsible for coordinating time management and payroll plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor law requirements. Lastly, Sotiris worked at Cepal Hellas Financial Services S.A., where they held positions as a Payroll Officer and a Human Resources Generalist, before becoming the Head of Human Resources Operations. In these roles, they managed payroll, administered benefit plans, conducted audits and controlled processes, and ensured compliance with compensation practices and labor legislation.

Sotiris Kampouropoulos has an extensive education history. Sotiris obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Sotiris then pursued a Master's degree in Applied Economics and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010. Continuing their education, Sotiris obtained another Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the same university, studying from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Sotiris Kampouropoulos also holds a certification from edX. Sotiris obtained the edX Verified Certificate for Becoming a People Manager: Taking Charge with Care from edX in May 2023.
