Nafiz Baksh

Nafiz Baksh has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing at Cepheid since November 2020, following roles as Sr Production Manager and Manager. Previously, Nafiz held the position of Downstream Clinical Development Supervisor at Lonza from March 2019 to November 2020 and worked at Genentech from January 2005 to January 2019 as Downstream Manufacturing Supervisor. Responsibilities have included establishing and implementing departmental goals, as well as training and managing resources to meet production, quality, and safety objectives. Nafiz holds a Bachelor's degree from Golden Gate University and is currently pursuing education at the University of California, Berkeley.
