Shakti Sampath

Shakti Sampath, MS, CSP, currently serves as the Lead Global EHS Engineer/Project Manager at Cepheid since June 2020. Prior to this role, Shakti worked at Northrop Grumman as an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer 2, managing hazardous waste programs and regulatory compliance. Earlier experience includes an EHS internship at Genentech, where Shakti conducted hazard assessments and contributed to safety initiatives, and an internship focused on emergency preparedness at San Jose Water Company. Shakti holds a Master's Degree in Occupational Safety & Ergonomics from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from San Jose State University.
